Not dead yet.

After GM announced that Saab was to be wound down last Friday, one of it’s suitors has made yet another bid for the company, the Dutch supercar maker Spyker. The above quote from their press release hits the nail on the head about what needs to happen to keep Saab a viable car maker.

WANT: Renault factory-built, street-legal, entry-level Rally Car—Twingo RS

Sweet.

No interior accouterments, racing seats and harnesses, full steel safety cage.

Sequential gear box, wheel-mounted shifter, optional data acquisition system.

Now all I need is about $60,000 and import it from Europe. For the record, I’d gladly take a Ford Fiesta S2000 instead.
